Routine Vaccines

Make sure you're up-to-date on all routine vaccines including chickenpox, tetanus, flu, MMR, polio, and shingles.

COVID-19

Stay up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccines before traveling.

Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for all travelers to Bonaire age 1 and older. Special dosing may apply for infants and high-risk travelers.

Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B vaccine is recommended for all unvaccinated travelers to Bonaire.

Measles

Measles cases are rising worldwide. Make sure you're fully vaccinated with MMR vaccine at least 2 weeks before travel. Infants 6-11 months need special early dosing.

Typhoid

Typhoid vaccine is recommended for most travelers to Bonaire, especially if visiting rural areas or staying with friends and relatives.

Rabies

Rabid dogs are uncommon in Bonaire and rabies vaccines are available if needed. Consider pre-exposure vaccination if you'll have high-risk animal contact or limited access to medical care.

Yellow Fever

Yellow fever vaccine is not needed if traveling directly from the US, but is required if you're coming from a country with yellow fever risk, including airport layovers over 12 hours.
