Routine Vaccines

Hepatitis A
Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for all travelers to Guyana age 1 year and older, including infants 6-11 months.
Hepatitis B

Measles
All international travelers should be fully vaccinated against measles with MMR vaccine at least 2 weeks before departure, including infants 6-11 months.
Typhoid
Typhoid vaccine is recommended for most travelers to Guyana, especially if staying with friends/relatives or visiting smaller cities or rural areas.
Rabies
Consider rabies vaccination if you'll be around animals or in remote areas. Rabies vaccines are typically not readily available in Guyana if you're exposed.
