Routine Vaccines

Make sure all your routine vaccines are up to date, including chickenpox, tetanus, flu, MMR, polio, and shingles vaccines.

Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for all travelers to Montserrat. Special dosing may be needed for infants, older adults, or those with health conditions.

Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B vaccine is recommended for all unvaccinated travelers to Montserrat.

Measles

Measles cases are rising worldwide. Make sure you're fully vaccinated with MMR vaccine at least two weeks before travel. Infants 6-11 months need a special early dose.

Typhoid

Typhoid vaccine is recommended for most travelers to Montserrat, especially if you're staying with friends/family or visiting smaller cities or rural areas.

Rabies

Rabid dogs are uncommon in Montserrat, but rabies vaccines may only be available in larger medical facilities. Consider pre-exposure vaccination if you'll be doing high-risk activities or might not have quick access to medical care.

Yellow Fever

Yellow fever vaccine is not needed if traveling directly from the US. However, it's required if you're coming from a country with yellow fever risk or have a long layover (over 12 hours) in such countries.
