Routine Vaccines

Make sure you are current on all routine vaccines including chickenpox, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, flu, measles-mumps-rubella, polio, and shingles before traveling.

COVID-19

Stay up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines before traveling.

Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for most travelers to Morocco. Infants 6-11 months should also get vaccinated. Special arrangements may be needed for those with allergies or certain medical conditions.

Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B vaccine is recommended for unvaccinated travelers under 60. Those 60 and older may also choose to get vaccinated.

Measles

All travelers should be fully vaccinated against measles with the MMR vaccine. Infants 6-11 months should get an early dose before travel.

Typhoid

Typhoid vaccine is recommended for most travelers to Morocco, especially if you're staying with friends or relatives or visiting smaller cities or rural areas.

Rabies

Rabies-infected dogs are common in Morocco. Consider pre-exposure rabies vaccination if you'll be doing activities with animal exposure risk or might have trouble getting quick medical care. Rabies vaccines are generally available throughout Morocco if needed after exposure.

Yellow Fever

Yellow fever vaccine is not recommended for Morocco and is not required for entry.
