Routine Vaccines
Make sure all your routine vaccines are up to date, including chickenpox, tetanus, flu, MMR, polio, and shingles vaccines.
COVID-19
Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines before traveling.
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for all travelers to Oman age 1 and older. Infants 6-11 months should also get vaccinated.
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B vaccine is recommended for unvaccinated travelers under 60. Those 60 and older may choose to get vaccinated.
Measles
All travelers should be fully vaccinated against measles with MMR vaccine. Infants 6-11 months need an early dose.
Typhoid
Typhoid vaccine is recommended for most travelers to Oman, especially if staying with friends/relatives or visiting smaller cities or rural areas.
Rabies
Consider rabies vaccination if you'll be doing activities with animal exposure risk or may have difficulty accessing medical care. Rabies is present in dogs and wildlife in Oman.
Yellow Fever
Yellow fever vaccine is not recommended for travel to Oman, but is required if coming from countries with yellow fever risk, including transit stops over 12 hours.
