Recommended vaccines
Meningococcal disease
If you're traveling for Hajj or Umrah pilgrimage, you must have proof of meningococcal ACWY vaccine given 3-5 years ago (depending on vaccine type) and at least 10 days before travel. This applies to travelers age 1 and older.
Routine vaccines
Make sure all your routine vaccines are up to date, including chickenpox, tetanus, flu, MMR, polio, and shingles vaccines.

Hepatitis A
Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for all travelers to Saudi Arabia age 1 and older. Special dosing may apply for infants, older adults, and those with medical conditions.
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B vaccine is recommended for travelers under 60. Those 60 and older may choose to get vaccinated.
Measles
Measles cases are rising worldwide. All travelers should be fully vaccinated with MMR vaccine at least 2 weeks before travel. Infants 6-11 months need an early dose.
Typhoid
Typhoid vaccine is recommended for most travelers, especially if staying with local families or visiting smaller cities and rural areas.
Rabies
