Routine Vaccines

Make sure you are current on all routine vaccinations including chickenpox, tetanus, flu, measles-mumps-rubella, polio, and shingles.

COVID-19

Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations before traveling.

Chikungunya

Chikungunya vaccination is recommended because there is currently an outbreak in Seychelles.

Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A vaccination is recommended for all unvaccinated travelers over 1 year old, with special dosing for infants and high-risk travelers.

Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B vaccination is recommended for all unvaccinated travelers regardless of age.

Measles

All travelers should be fully vaccinated with MMR vaccine at least two weeks before travel, including early vaccination for infants 6-11 months old.

Typhoid

Typhoid vaccination is recommended for most travelers, especially if you plan to stay with friends or relatives or visit smaller cities or rural areas.

Rabies

Rabies vaccination may be recommended depending on your planned activities and access to medical care. Rabid dogs are not commonly found in Seychelles, but vaccines may only be available in larger medical facilities.

Yellow Fever

Yellow fever vaccination is not recommended for travel to Seychelles. However, if you are coming from a country with yellow fever risk or have a long layover in such a country, you will need proof of vaccination to enter Seychelles.
