Routine Vaccines

Make sure all your routine vaccines are up to date, including chickenpox, tetanus, flu, MMR, polio, and shingles vaccines.

COVID-19

Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines before traveling.

Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for all unvaccinated travelers to Ukraine age 1 and older. Infants 6-11 months should also get vaccinated.

Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B vaccine is recommended for unvaccinated travelers under 60. Those 60 and older may choose to get vaccinated.

Measles

All travelers should be fully vaccinated against measles with MMR vaccine at least 2 weeks before travel. Infants 6-11 months need an early dose.

Rabies

Rabies is present in dogs and wildlife in Ukraine. Consider pre-exposure vaccination if you'll have increased animal contact or limited access to medical care.

Tick-borne Encephalitis

TBE vaccine is recommended if you'll have extensive tick exposure in endemic areas, or may be considered for outdoor activities where ticks are present.

Yellow Fever

Yellow fever vaccine is not recommended and not required for entry to Ukraine.
