Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about how Voyax Health consultations work, what they cost, and where they’re available.
Getting started
What is Voyax Health?▼
Voyax Health is an online travel-health consultation service. You complete a questionnaire about your health history and your trip, a licensed pharmacist reviews it and puts together a personalized vaccine and medication plan, and any prescriptions or vaccine referrals are routed to a pharmacy near you.
How does the process work?▼
Tell us your destinations and trip details, create an account, and pay the one-time consultation fee. You'll then complete a health questionnaire covering your personal information, vaccine history, and medical history, and choose a pharmacy to receive care at. A licensed pharmacist reviews everything and emails you a personalized plan along with a referral to your chosen pharmacy.
What do I actually receive at the end of a consultation?▼
An emailed, pharmacist-reviewed summary of the vaccines and medications recommended for your trip, plus a referral to the pharmacy you selected. Voyax Health does not administer vaccines directly — you visit your chosen pharmacy in person to receive them.
Do I need to upload my vaccination records?▼
No. Your vaccine history is self-reported during the questionnaire — you check off which vaccines you've had and provide the dates you remember. There's no document or vaccine-card upload required to complete a consultation.
Who can use Voyax Health?▼
Voyax Health is available to U.S. residents age 3 and older. Travelers under 18 need a parent or guardian to approve and supervise their consultation.
Service area
Is Voyax Health available in my state?▼
Voyax Health currently serves California residents only. We don't have a committed timeline for expanding to other states yet.
I don't live in California — can I still sign up?▼
You can create an account from anywhere in the U.S. so we can let you know when we reach your state, but checkout is currently limited to California residents — you won't be able to pay for and complete a consultation until we're available where you live.
Pricing & payment
How much does a consultation cost?▼
A flat $39.99 per traveler, with no volume discounts.
Do children pay the same price as adults?▼
Yes. Minors are counted as full travelers and pay the same $39.99 fee as adults.
What does the consultation fee include?▼
The fee covers a licensed pharmacist's review of your health information and your personalized vaccine and medication plan, plus routing any prescriptions to your chosen pharmacy. It does not include the cost of the vaccines or medications themselves, which are billed by the pharmacy when you're seen.
What payment methods do you accept?▼
We accept major credit and debit cards through Square, our secure payment processor. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
Is the consultation fee refundable?▼
The fee is non-refundable once your consultation has been paid for. If you believe you were charged in error, or need to cancel before a pharmacist has started reviewing your information, contact support@voyaxhealth.com — see our Terms of Service for full details.
The health questionnaire & review
What information do I need to provide?▼
Your personal information (name, date of birth, contact details), your vaccine and medical history, and the pharmacy where you'd like to be seen. Everything is entered directly in the questionnaire — no separate documents required.
Who reviews my information?▼
A licensed pharmacist (part of the Voyax Health clinical team) reviews every submitted questionnaire before your plan is finalized.
How long until I hear back after submitting?▼
Pharmacists typically review your information and send your personalized recommendations within 24 hours of submission.
Can I add other travelers to my trip?▼
Yes. You can add additional travelers to your consultation, and each one completes their own health questionnaire.
Pharmacy & vaccine administration
Does Voyax Health administer the vaccines?▼
No. Voyax Health's pharmacist reviews your information and refers you to a pharmacy for the actual vaccine administration — you'll visit that pharmacy in person to receive your vaccines.
How do I choose a pharmacy?▼
You'll pick from a directory of partner pharmacy locations during the questionnaire. This network currently covers California.
Are all pharmacy locations open to children?▼
No — some locations only see adult patients. If you're booking for a minor, the directory only shows locations that see patients under 18.
Privacy & security
Is my health information secure?▼
Yes. Voyax Health is a HIPAA-covered entity, and your personal health information is encrypted both in transit and at rest. We don't share your data with third parties without your consent — see our Privacy Policy and Notice of Privacy Practices for details.
What is CAIR, and do I have to use it?▼
CAIR is the California Immunization Registry. From your dashboard, you can optionally consent to Voyax Health looking up your immunization records in CAIR to help fill in your vaccine history. It's entirely opt-in, has no effect on pricing or eligibility, and you can turn it on or off at any time.
